Government Services
Hemsley Paterson have built a strong reputation within the Government sector over many years, having worked with a large number of State and Local Government Authorities, both in Perth and Regional WA.
Asset Acquisition & Disposal
Sound valuation advice ensures that our clients are able to achieve an optimal outcome from their investments when acquiring or disposing of assets, whilst also ensuring relevant legislative obligations are being met.
Negotiated & Compulsory Acquisitions
Our expert team have experience in assisting Government clients in the acquisition of land for whole or part takes, along with the registration of easements for new infrastructure projects. We have represented various Government clients at all levels of the process, including representation in the Supreme Court.
Market rent reviews
We regularly provide assistance to Local Government Authorities in relation to market rent reviews for commercial assets. Rowan Hemsley also sits on the panel of valuers for Rental Determinations appointed by the Australian Property Institute.
Property portfolio reviews
Hemsley Paterson have experience in assisting a number of Local Government Authorities with valuations and valuation-based advice in relation to their property portfolios. We also maintain a strong working relationship with other professional service providers that allow us to work collaboratively with LGA clients to assess the potential of their portfolio.
Developer Contributions
Hemsley Paterson have experience in providing land valuations to Local Government clients for Development Contribution Plans in accordance with State Planning Policy 3.6 – Infrastructure Contributions. We can also assist private clients with the assessment of their Department of Education contribution requirements under WAPC Operational Policy 2.4 – Planning for School Sites.
